I sat in 32B from MEL to LHR and, although the quietness of the upper deck is nice, I would still stick with 71D for the legroom.

Thanks for the observation.

Seats aren't any wider are they? Or better recline? (like Prem Econ?) Just trying to figure out the 2-4-2 vs 3-4-3 config below. (Still, PE is 2-3-2, so I'm just wondering...)

Thanks

The seats are the same with the same recline. I prefer the upper deck, with the explicated boarding, ( using the upper deck aerobridge)

Seat pitch and width werent noticeably different to the main deck. It was quieter upstairs and the boarding process via the upper deck seemed easier with fewer people; however, the extra legroom of 71D is more appealing to me personally.

Thanks - to all that responded - think I'll stick with the known 71D! :-)

Does anyone know if 36K has the window storage? I saw a picture that had 35K (the exit row) with the window storage but I can't see if the row behind definently has it.

Thank you!

Reports on AFF indicate to the affirmative for 36K window storage.

I saw a picture of that - that has to be the worst seat ever. I would hate to be in that seat - at least in a row of three, there is a window so you can see something.

This is my first time flying on an A380! Advice would be appreciated. Consensus seems to be that 71D is nicer than 32(J in my case) because of legroom. I have a choice between any seat in row 32 and row 66. Any preferences?

Row 66 has pretty good seats with much legroom, even in the middle block.

Since there is no 70D, 71D has good leg room. 80A and 80K are quite good seats as well.

You're correct and I agree that row 66 seats are pretty good. I was more looking for specific advice on whether I should grab a row 32 aisle or a row 66 aisle. The infinite legroom seats, 80A/80K/71D, are all occupied on my flight.
