QF7 seating
I am booked on QF 7 SYD -DFW 747-400GE aircraft economy
There are no zone D seats available which I would prefer.
Have booked 60JK and wonder if they are OK as it shows the galley in front of them. Are they bulk head seats?
Can do 72AB but understand there is a lot of movement in the tail section of the 747. Will 60 be any better?
I will keep an eye on the booking and hope to get something in the forward cabin.
Your thoughts please

Hello and welcome to FT.
When travelling as couple, I'd prefer any of the pairs of seats at the rear of the 744. The positive is the window, extra space next to the window seat and more privacy with no one next to you. The negatives are that you are last off the plane (no tight connections!), a little more movement than 10 rows further forward), people hanging around in the aisle waiting for toilets or just hanging around in the back of the plane, unsure if catering starts or finishes here - so choice of meals may be an issue, and (if this is still true as it was on the 743) medical stretcher cases will trump passengers for the AB seats.
I'd go for the 2 seats down the back.

Row of 2
As a couple would always go for the row of 2 in the rear of the air craft. We flew QF7/QF8 last year and had the row of 2 and had no issues with catering and people crowding the isle.
My son and I are on QF 7 this coming Friday (Sept. 28) visiting relatives in Houston and we have the first row of 2 reserved. Can't wait and do hope flight is not full so may consider going for a row of three with an empty seat in the middle. Can some have a look at the load for QF 7 in economy this coming Friday.
Thanks and cheers from Brisbane,
