GLT regional lounge NOW OPEN

By coincidence I was the first guest to use the lounge whilst waiting for Qf2301. Very beautiful for a regional lounge.

Seats about 70.

Had a personal welcome from the Qld lounges manager.

They print an access pin code to open the door on your BP.

Still waiting on the liquor license.

B717 to start today as well.

Great work Qantaslink.

Nice to see new lounges opening, rather than old ones closing. If the lounge manager was the same very pleasant lady who took the time to interact with and seek feedback from a group of FTers at the BNE QP last month, then I'm pleased you had a chance to meet her.

Bit concerning about the liquor licence though.

hence the OP's very specific terminology of "regional lounge" rather than "QP".
