AA award, QF coded, JQ metal. Checked bag allowance?
I'm thinking of redeeming 10k AA miles for o/w MEL-CNS. According to AAdvantage reservation, the only flights available for my date are the two QF59xx, which are JQ-operated. Taxes and fees cost US$53. What can I expect for baggage allowance? Is it QF's free 23 kg? I just don't want to be surprised by JQ's A$80 at check in!
