Mileage ticket help request
Is there a thread where I can post such a request for help to find a mileage ticket?
here are the details of what I want and what I want to pay for it with:
I am looking to fly from MEL to LHR on 03/28 or 03/29 (max 1 stop)
then from LHR to NYC on 04/02 (non stop)
and then from NYC to MEL on 04/03 (max 1 stop)
All in business class (or at the very least premium economy).
I have approx 425,000 Qantas miles to use.
I don't care what airline I fly.
I know my trip is pretty specific so what are my options?

As your question QF specific better asked the QF forum. Our friendly moderator may split if off to the QF forum
Very few I suspect when you are trying to use QF points.
Have you tried to book on the QF web site or phone QF? That is the only place to use QF points

I think you have left it a little late to book this trip in J. There is no availability MEL-LHR around your dates but you may find something suitable by using a multi-city search via HKG, BKK, SIN or NRT. Equally there's nothing from NYC back to Australia. Otherwise your only option is Y or keep looking for new availability, which sometimes arises on CX via HKG.

the best option might just be to ring qantas and ask them. they will be able to search sector by sector for you, and even might find other one world carriers that have availability (such as cx or BA out of hong kong or Tokyo).
depending on what they find, you can try writing down the flights and searching for them yourself via your qantas account (save the assisted booking fee) or just save time and lump the additional fee for their help.
