Air India -- FIRST CLASS - Non-Stop R/T EWR-BOM $2399

Is this fare too good to be true? I can only seem to get it to work on FlyUs.

I used sample dates of Nov 10 from EWR and returning Nov 17, 2023

Tried to book. They called and said it was a bug — supposed to be their new PE product.

Found same pricing from SFO but similar issue. Made booking and it got cancelled. Not sure if anyone else is seeing cancellations.

yup, booked the same fare from SFO-BOM RT but it was booked in Premium Economy. Not worth it. So I cancelled it.

Not Honored

I booked via a OTA and they cancelled after a few hours. They blamed Air India and Air India blamed them. I had booked in F and got a confirmation email showing that.

I have a very suspicious feeling that Air India was the one who flubbed. Let's just say history is on their side....

Not sure even Air India First Class is worth it at $2,400.

It's very difficult to find flights to India in biz for under $2900 right now....so the nice lay flat seat in and of itself would be worth it. But the catering is pretty lame, yes, and the service isn't the best. Maybe with TaTa it has changed a little?

The last time I flew them, freaking most of the screens didn't work! Hopefully new ownership improves their standards
