As this seems to work to MEX too I wonder if I could change the destination from HNL to MEX as it seems to allow changes. Those accom prices at HNL are indeed quite steep…

It was working for LAX, SAN, SEA, PDX and SFO before (I think it used to work for LAS too, but recent looks seems to indicate not), while not ideal I was seeing as low as £1260 yesterday, but not today...

Ah yes, it was my choice of routing, it appears a BUD to LAS only really worked if routed via HEL on Finnair to JFK and then more than one domestic short hops to get there (ORD and DFW for instance). Via LHR and JFK weren't there. It was £1267.

(For others, a rolling six month period means its about 4th of Feb 2023 where this is valid from at the moment).

Thanks for the information that the first date possible is the 04/02/2023.
Any other Oneworld mileage run advice?
Trying to keep my BA gold, as my renew date is the 08/01/2023

This fare works just fine in 2022 for 400$ more. Blog levels of spoonfeeding are needed on this board nowadays SMH

How? You can find this on any OTA or GF for $2300 without any special construction.

The DFW<->HNL timings result in long layovers. I booked this a few months ago for January. Instead I booked BUD-HEL-JFK (later start) JFK-LAX A321T lie-flats, LAX-HNL on the outbound & HNL-DFW on the 772 on the return. To break up the long layover, I backtracked to LAX and then flying LAX-LHR-BUD.

BUD-HEL-JFK-LAX-HNL-DFW-LAX-LHR-BUD.

I booked through AA, all BA codeshare flight numbers except LAX-HNL-DFW with AA prime flight numbers. The fare basis allows for changes & cancel to voucher. The fare was $1765.

Hi
I'm looking at this run in Feb so I'm on US time for the Super Bowl. I think I need to book soon as its approaching 180 days in the future. Look ok for 920 TPs? Any ideas about optimising the route - the LAX-HNL legs look a bit rough in a recliner seat but I think should be ok.
I can only create this in Google Flights, I can't create it on the matrix (old or new).
Can anyone help? I'm ideally looking to see if I can pay in GBP to maximise Avios with the BA PP Amex.
If worse comes to worse I can book via the GF link on AA.com and pay in HUF on my no forex exchange card.
