BA AMS-JNB-AMS in J $1500/€1275
Seeing sub $1500 RT fares thru middle of October. I searched on Google flights with fair availability in Jan/Feb and great availability through October.
Books into I class.
Booked on A380 for a week in March. Hope this is of value to someone.

It vanished for awhile and was nervous I missed it. Came back yesterday and wanted to share for people in the same situation as me!

I apologize for not specifying which particular fare I was asking about in my previous post. It's the 1,120EURO fare that I would like a link to as I'm seeing prices in the 1550EURO range.

I think it was a part of the sale they ran on 8/1. Checked the following day and say similar range as you saying.

Sorry for not replying earlier as I am in sunny Cape Town now. The fare I got was a £1,120 - in Pounds and not in Euros (although it was probably quoted in Euros but I paid that 1,120.00 in Pounds). Unfortunately I have no link to that fare any longer as it was booked a while back.

Some great fares from ATH and LCA to CPT too - about €1300 and picks up the extra TPs for the European legs.
[UPDATE] Managed €1490 ATH-LHR-JNB-CPT return with some useful layovers for a family birthday in London and meetings in Joburg outbound, festive drinks in Joburg and family dinner in London inbound. 520 TPs and over 42k Avios earned. Very chuffed.
