Need some President's Day mini-vacation ideas? Why not visit lovely Ecuador and pad up your Delta accounts with up-to 3227 MQDs for under $900...
I used President Day weekend in February 2019 (so only half a Friday off work) but seems like space till End of Schedule using ITA Matrix and got it to price on an OTA with BookWithMatrix. RDMs, MQMs and MQDs are calculated using Delta data on a internal sheet.
Ratio represents the MQDs per $ spent with higher numbers better...
IAH-UIO $994 10828 RDMs 8121 MQMs 2165.6 MQDs Ratio 2.17
JFK-UIO $841 16136 RDMs 12102 MQMs 3227.2 MQDs Ratio 3.83
MIA-UIO $902 12880 RDMs 9660 MQMs 2576 MQDs Ratio 2.85
DFW-UIO $945 11516 RDMs 8637 MQMs 2303.2 MQDs Ratio 2.43
SFO-UIO $900 15300 RDMs 11475 MQMs 3060 MQDs Ratio 3.39
LAX-UIO $847 13988 RDMs 10491 MQMs 2797.6 MQDs Ratio 3.30
ORD-UIO $846 14516 RDMs 10887 MQMs 2903.2 MQDs Ratio 3.43

I checked ITA Matrix about 2 hours ago and it was still alive and with plenty of space...

I would recommend caution on these runs. It seems the fare basis code being sent over to Delta is NOT and "I" but a Y-UP and some are not getting the credit they hoped for. :-(

Can you provide some clarity on this? It seems that with ticket confirmation and boarding passes it would be a clear cut manual posting...

Check the fare basis code at the bottom of the shots you have above. They state "I" fare but if the fare basis code does not also start with "I" then Delta, it seems, is not paying out. Call this developing.

Delta Twitter team indicated in one message that it's an I fare and should credit as such and then in another message that it might be a Y UP and credit as the underlying.
But again, fare says Business Class, Booking I, on Aeromexico website... It it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck... It should be a Duck... I fare that credits as I fare per Delta tables.
Looking on their website I can't seem to see reference to Y Up fares on partner fares, it only says that they credit as Purchased Fare Class, which would indicate a I class...

I had never seen any issues with these fares. I know that several FTers have used these fares (I class) and credit to Delta at the rates mentioned.

Delta team on Twitter also confirmed I class.
It seems the fear from looking at the Delta forums was a Virgin Atlantic fare that got mixed up.

Seems that to be safe with Delta:
A) Keep email confirmation with I fare
B) Keep boarding passes if needed (or take photos with phone)
C) Be ready to fight if they don't post correctly....
Still Aeromexico is the best way for American based flyers to collect MQDs at a favorable rate
