Singapore JFK-FRA J Fares $1990 RT...

Singapore's black friday sale is out now. Low fares from LA to Asia under 3k in J, but also $1990 JFK-FRA returns. Pretty solid.

Travel dates: 01 Dec 2018 - 31 Oct 2019

Book by: Nov 27.

Adv Purchase: none.

Note these are published fares, and do not require a promo code.

The SFO fares are good ($2990 to HKG, $3190 to SIN) but not worthy of a thread here. I may try to book one using Amex IAP, as sub-$3k TPAC on SQ is pretty attractive.

Did you get a quote from Amex IAP? Wondering how much they'd price it at

Not yet. I got 10% off the base fare last time I used IAP to book an SQ D fare.

Do you think IAP would give 10% off the black friday JFK-FRA fare? At 1990- 10% that would be about $1800 and pretty stellar for anytime availability. Im watching this as a peak travel option for my brother and his wife who are looking to spend MRs (and there are no FF programs with award space on their days of travel). 180k MRs per ticket would be a solid value.

Highly unlikely. Despite being partners, it's been long documented UA and SQ do not play well with each other.

Yes, I called. It is $1805. LH is $2519 for same dates per the agent. He thought it was a good deal.

Less than 180k MR if you have one of the premium cards (the rebate)

$250 change fee, which is really not bad for such a cheap fare.

Tasty fare. I'll have to find a reason to use this.

Are these fares to Asis for this weekend only? Normally, I don't see these fares for less than 4k to 6k. Thanks

Yup, got my brother and his wife set up for this and it will be 117k MRs each with the 35% rebate. What a deal!
