I booked mine through Expedia. FWIW it ticketed in 10 minutes and appears on Avianca site as of now. We'll see.
BTW - based on the seat assignments I have, it looks like the daytime JFK-BOG is in the new lie-flat J configuration, while the redeye is using old angled flat seats.
It would seem more logical to do the opposite as people would probably appreciate sleeping overnight, but whatever.

The fare still seems to be around. I booked one that is basically to Bogota for a few days, with onward flight to UIO (the fare destination) and then back to New York with two stops (LIM, BOG). So the mileage accrual includes the segments to/from Lima, but you can use BOG as a stopover if you prefer that.

Hmm now who to credit to. I've got zero *A status with a few measly points in SQ. Any hints on which program is most useful for the relatively small number of points this one will accrue? Will just be looking to burn them.

This fare is still available, believe it or not, if you're flexible with departure date (seems to be limited to Mon-Thur) and don't cherry pick the flights and timing you prefer (A330). First find the flight combinations with this price at kayak.com and try to book it via AV
Labor Day weekend, for example, (8/30-9/4), using AV's Other Countries version
https://www.avianca.com/otr/en/
You can see the multi city booking. The following is the date/flight combo I entered and showing $678
8/30 JFK-UIO (AV21/AV8373)
8/30 UIO-LIM (AV7388)
9/4 LIM-JFK (AV24/AV20)

I booked JFK-UIO for 4 pax in November for $770 p.p. Connection in BOG with good (2hr) connection times. Seems to be really good availability throughout the year at the same price every day. It is a very decent fare.
There are two A330 flights a day on the 5.5hr JFK-BOG leg - one is a newer lie-flat and one is angled-flat. Going out the angled-flat is overnight and the lie-flat departs early morning. The lie-flat times are less convenient on the way back with 3.5 hr connection in BOG and a 4.25am arrival in JFK, so I went for angled flat that gets in at 9.00pm instead. BOG-UIO is a 1.5hr flight on A319 or A320 recliners.
The price on Google flights shows at around $710 but then jumps to $770 when you click through to book. It is bookable directly on Avianca, though I did it through Orbitz.
