Connects in CDG/AMS then Asia (KUL/SIN/HKG/SGN/CAN/PVG) onwards to destination.
OJ and free stopovers allowed.

do I have to book through AF website and using the multi-cities tool ?

Probably the easiest is ITA, then I use either Powertools or bookwithmatrix to book.
I suggest you look at the available routes first before you search for dates.

You could get about 20K FB level miles for the CAI-CDG-XXX segments, extra 1875 if you go through both AMS and CDG

I was planning to book one of these fares however was told that these routes are unavailable on both third parties websites (CheapOair and Orbitz). I even tried KLM website and the price is USD3,200 instead of USD2,400.

Does anyone have this problem too?

You can book those flights in AF website for example, might not be the exact same ones as the google flights link but still gets you from CAI to AKL for 2400$

You can by routing via CAN or PVG since CZ and MU are skyteam airlines. (Plus VN via SGN if flying to Australia but not if flying to AKL as NZ operates SGN-AKL.)

I can price it on Priceline but I suggest booking through the carrier's website. Here's one from DL.com. CAI-CDG-PVG-AKL-SIN-CDG-CAI with stops on each city. Ignore the layover times as it's not showing correctly.

For this I used ITA and Powertools.

Thanks heaps Ditto. I had a look at these flights in AF website and it still gets me USD2,400 for CAI CDG SIN AKL sector.

I checked out the DL website and unfortunately, the flights, which you mentioned, is not available. As for ITA, I am not really familiar with it so I guess I need to play it around as I read that it is the best when it comes to the fares. Thanks heaps zoqfotpik for these fares as well as your suggestion!
