_ Never mind I see some dates are bookable through BA _
Where you book it doesn't matter, but the flight number does.

My corporate TA knows that I tend to avoid codeshares and so I fly many mixed BA / AA flight numbers and on BA and AA ticket stock. I credit everything to AA and in general I earn by the BA table for BA flights and the AA rules for AA flights. My BA upgrades have earned by the upgraded fare class (shown as I rather than U) and I haven't managed to get a single AA flight to credit by Special Fares (even when bought with Citi Prestige points).

Hi -

Fare also available on AY PRG-SFO on their new flight. only 3x a week. I booked one for US$1725 ai. Not quite as good as the VIE-LAX I missed out on, but still a decent Biz fare to the US West Coast.

The 17xx"ish" fares ex PRG to West Coast are not so rare to find in general.. I do not fly AY based on many past recommendations (most of my colleagues trying to avoid AY on the route to Asia due to food selection, where we have our third hub and AY is in many cases the cheapest C option), however there is usually nice BA/IB/AA availability as well.. Worth to mention *A & ST recently started to match these cheap fares as well - when there was the LAS fare earlier this week, ST was cheapest on the same route in July / August, *A in whole autumn calendar and OW from the NYE onward

Also worth to mention our national currency CZK strengthened by 20% against USD recently, so the C fares are looking even more sexy

I picked up 3 of these, 2 for me and 1 for a colleague. Thanks OP!

Last 6 months or so the PRG-SFO has been ~$2500 from what I have seen. ex-BUD has been good consistently.

Wrong! If you maximise TP with this https://goo.gl/flights/tcSz you have the 1-2-1 layout of the ex US A330.

Or you can do far, far better than your suggestion, mainly due to the A321T product on the transcon.

I have added multiple options to show what is possible.

Indeed ^ My example was focussed on the TATL leg.
