JD/3U: YVR-China $1800

Feeling adventurous?

Sichuan Airlines
YVR-CGO(Zhengzhou)-CTU(Chengdu)
Wideopen until June for $1785, W/Th/F schedule
Books into Business (J) JLYC6M7
YVR-HKG also available for about $1920 if you overnight

Beijing Capital Airlines
YVR-TAO(Qingdao)-HGH(Hangzhou)
Wideopen until April for $1798, W/F/Su schedule
Books into Business (Z) ZR1CA

China Southern
YVR-Most of China
~$808 for Premium Economy
Wideopen schedule, daily service
Books into W (domestic) and S (tpac), possibly miscoded

Xiamen Airlines
YVR-Most of China
$451 for Economy
I think you can also upgrade to business/first at check-in for $600 CAD each way according to most reports

Air China and China Eastern economy/business also available but higher pricing

Use Google Flights. I also don't know much about the first two products/airlines other than that they are flying A330's.

The China Southern PE trans Pacific flights look to be on 787's, which have no PE seats.

I had investigated last year when these were filed, they both have angle flat seats as far as i can tell. So not the greatest product!

Holy cow, 3U has some through fares to Australia posted for not much more. I see US$1697++ as base fare, cannot get it to pull up anywhere so no idea exactly what the all in prices is, but YVR-CTU-SYD roundtrip for around US$2k once taxes are factored in would be my guess.

We might need a dedicated "west coast premium fares for 2nd (and 3rd) tier chinese airlines..."

I believe China Southern does have PE seats.

Example Flight:
https://www.seatguru.com/airlines/China_Southern/China_Southern_Boeing_777-300ER.php?flightno=330&date=2017-03-30#

Rows 31-36 are PE.

The business class for CZ is also lie flat.
