Aa cai-lax i fare us$1500

In case someone could use it, seems BA to LHR then LHR-LAX on AA, return can route through FCO and use AZ FCO-CAI. Appears good to October. GF of course, seems to require a call to AA, so I didn't confirm it's valid.

Do you have to call AA for booking ex-CAI?

I can get all AA/BA metal to pull up on GF, but doesn't work when I click through to the AA website

CAI-SEA too.

There is an even cheaper IB fare IRTEG fare basis (about $240 cheaper base fare)

Code:
/VIA THE ATLANTIC/
MAP CONSTRUCTED LEFT TO RIGHT AND RIGHT TO LEFT
 1. CAI-BCN/MAD-BCN/MAD-BA/IB-LON-BOS/CHI/DFW/LAX/MIA/NYC/SJU/
    WAS-AA/IB-LAX
 2. CAI-BCN/MAD-BCN/MAD-BA/IB-LON-BOS/NYC-B6-LAX
 3. CAI-BCN/MAD-BCN/MAD-BA/IB-LON-LAX
I pulled these up on Vayama

Vayama works for the $1500 fare. Can get all AA codes for 2x eqms or BA/IB if you want distance based RDMs.

Was able to find some on Expedia for $1707 all on BA metal and A380 w/ 787/321.
Vayama doesn't give me the ability to call and test cust svc or chat before purchase. I tried to put my AAdvantage number in and the form only accepts digits.
Also, i read they will charge a $50/fee to cancel, so I think Expedia is worth the small premium and with 24hr cxl. I calc out at .029 cpm / .074 cp elite mile on AS with 57k rdm and 22k+ elite miles with MP75K

You can also book directly with AA, I had no problem doing that and the currency exchange is slightly better, I get $1460 on AA.com US site. CAI-LHR-SEA outbound and SEA-DFW-LHR-CAI on return.

Now before you go around making assertions like that, at least look to see if there is a fare in the GDS. In this case there most certainly is... Google Flights is garbage.

Wow, only a US$35 change or cancellation fee listed in the fare rules. AA says it is business flexible fare and has no change fee at all, but there is definitely a $35 charge.

Makes sense, am starting to do that with my kids biz tickets on OW carriers, AS is the last of the promised land for decent RDMs based on distance and a good COS bonus!

BTW- Momondo is probably the best online aggregator of OTAs, many you have probably never heard of, but sometimes you can shave a few hundred off due to currency FX, slightly different taxes, etc. I have never had a problem with the more obscure ones on there. But agree, for the full 24 hours, Exp or equivalent is the way to go.
