So here's the link to the sale. Qatar's website sucks. I stumbled on this link by accident. Shows the discounted fares in J to most of the destinations, but is based on multiple bookings. Cheapest is for 4-5. I was able to price out 4 YYZ-BKK for $2300/pp as abby did (though abby was from YUL).

Works via selloffvacation
As a follow up my sister just booked for two YUL-SIN late July via selloffvacations for $2500 CAD / $1760 USD.
YUL-BLR is pricing at $2,100 CAD / $1,478 USD
Is it worth crediting to Qmiles with the triple miles or should I stick to AA?

Just checking my math here for AA EXPs:
Pricing out YUL-DOH-SIN in J for a mileage run ($1,790 USD):
Base Miles - 21,122
EQMs (+50%) - 31,683
Class of Service RDM Bonus (+25%) - 5,281
EXP RDM Bonus (+100%) - 21,122
Total RDMs - 42,244
Cost - $1,790
CPM cost: ~4.2 cpm
Plus 9K Avios LGA-YUL RT.
For comparison on a pure MR standpoint, JFK-NRT-CKG in Y is around $800 on sale (2 cpm) including the EXP bonus and gets you around 21K EQMs. But of course JL Y has nothing on QR J.
Is that correct?

Google Flights/Matrix seeing CAD3415/USD2375 for YVR-KUL the long way, via AMS on KL. Can't get it to come up on KL but Matrix -> Delta works via the userscript. Didn't try to purchase it, but if it goes through, 33,418 MQM ~7.1 CPM!
April/May/June, ... sample dates June 5-12 http://goo.gl/flights/aKO1

Also, YYZ-AMS-SIN-DPS-SIN-AMS-YYZ is available for US$2227.
That's 33,859 MQM for 6.6 cpMQM.

I wouldn't be surprised if the poster referring to the HKT fare got it right as far as currency. I was able to get YUL to BKK down to $2502 CAD $1767 USD on QR. It's more than just Thailand though. Both DEL and BOM I found below $2200 CAD from YVR and perhaps expanding beyond that.

I found this by myself and came to post a thread. But of course someone else found it first.
Anyway, I pulled the trigger on YVR/FRA/BLR in April on LH metal. The corporate travel agent couldn't find it with LH flight numbers but did with AC code shares. All in: $2412.80.
It was very confusing actually as I was and still am in Canada, and google flights was redirecting me to google.ca and I wasn't sure what currency I was working with. Even in Canadian dollars this was an extraordinary deal.
Funny fact: last week it was $3100 all in on OneWorld ex-YVR through Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur. I was too busy too book it, and since this fare has been around for many months, I didn't worry. Well, OW went to $4K and change, and *A plummeted. I wanted OW, but at this price, I had no choice, OPM or not.
