Canada-Asia in J for between USD1750 and 2400
Some threads already mention individual fares, but it seems that there are some great deals to be had to SIN, KUL, HKG, etc from YYZ, YVR and YUL. Just look around a bit on google flights.
YVR-LAX-PVG on Delta for US$1750. Also works to PEK. Another interesting idea is to link up with the Finnair sale. For instance: YUL to SIN via LHR and HEL on BA and AY for $2445 or YYZ-BKK for $2423. YYZ to PVG for $2183 on China Southern (2 stops) or $2268 on AC. Lots to be found so I am not sure if this is a bargain for you guys, but it sounds not too bad to me. :) Don't shoot the messenger if these fares are normal. Simply notify the mods and ask them to remove the thread. ^ EDIT: Canada to Jo'burg Ok, not Asia, but if you want to go to JNB and don't mind staying overnight in Jeddah: YYZ-JNB on Saudi for US$2264. Canada meets Russia Some really good exCanada stuff out there. Want to tell Putin you love his work? YYZ-LGA//JFK-HEL-SVO (r/t) on AA and AY for US$1705. |

They were on the AC site. Also, YYZ-PVG USD $2,760 Some are showing on Google Flights and on AC. Some only on AC. |

Something tells me that from Canada a USD 2875 r/t in J to Mauritius is a darn good deal.... On AF and Air Mauritius from YYZ or YUL.

SIN is very intriguing. Wish there was something from the west coast. YVR, SFO, LAX would make that an easy buy for me.

SIN via LHR&HEL is very very interesting...
that's 20K miles BIS, which makes it 40K for status with AA and 80K redeemable miles for elites, which is quite the return... Wonder if it's more interesting as a mileage run then the OIU or PTY ones... Will calculate later... |

But it's a balance between paying more for non-stop or 1-stop and hopping. |
The AY exUK sale ends on Jan 15th. Not 100% sure it is linked to the itinerary above, but highly likely. So I would book before then.

The YVR-MRU fare is really interesting, there is also a great MRU-SEA fare (actually fares, both BA and AA have them filed) that is around US$2200 and allows stopovers with no HIP check. Some interesting opportunities to nest some of these....
Thanks OP |
would love to see a *A/UA match on this

I am seeing that route with AY flight number not AA so wouldn't the EQM's be at 1.5 not 2.0?

Correct as per AA's chart for AY earning. http://www.aa.com/i18n/AAdvantage/ea...es/finnair.jsp Still, I looked at the details differently for a recent CX ticket. It will also only earn 1.5 and only +25% COS, but the difference was that the exact same trip marketed by AA was +$2,000 CAD. |
