  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!
  • Double-check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTAs confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as much detail as possible about the First/Business fare, including: fare class, fare basis, one-way/round-trip, sales channel, sample dates and total price (including taxes).
  • When posting fare rules, please enclose them in a [COÐE][/COÐE] block. Note the use of the eth (Ð) instead of a capital D here to prevent the forum software from trying to insert an actual block. Be sure you use the capital D.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain point of origin, and only very rarely work in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Please include important information such as operating airline, fare classes, city pairs, etc. in the body of your post rather than the post title field as it is not visible to those reading FT on mobile devices. This is not the "trick it" thread. Please do not speak in code.
  • Please do not post large images. Not everyone has infinite resolution, and it makes the rest of the thread very difficult to read. If it's not important enough to type in, it's not important enough to be here.
  • Last but not least: don't call the airline!

Note: There is a known miscoding on ITA and elsewhere, where fares on EI (Aer Lingus) are showing as being in first class. This is not correct, as Aer Lingus does not offer first class. If you see this fare, please ignore it and do not post it here as it is completely unbookable in every sense of the term. The mods are summarily deleting these posts in order to unclutter the thread.

Note: There is a known miscoding on ITA and elsewhere, where Z fares on EY (Etihad) are showing as being in first class. This is not correct, as Z fares are discount business on EY. These fares will not receive chaffeur service. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/etihad-airways-etihad-guest/1622229-removal-chauffeur-service-some-business-class-passengers.html

List of known, active deals:

JNB-DXB-SFO in EK F, $4k-ish one-way
MLE-HKG-US (various) in C, $1400 +/- available only on CX's website.
CMB-MIA, other US cities, for about $4400 in F, round-trip/return

BA AARP $400 discount for J/F bookings is now valid again for booking until 31 Oct 2014 but departure to EOS seems to get the discount. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/1435816-ba-fare-discounts-aarp-4.html

There is also the question - will an A3-coded, EY-operated flight count as one of the 4 necessary OA/A3 segments? I think it will, but we don't know yet. Still, for those going for Gold requalification, there is almost 3 full months at least to acquire that extra sector if it is required. But we should know long before taking these flights what the exact requirements are - the new programme launches Nov 24.
There was a report that a A3 codeshare flight ops by EY did not earn any mile on M&B... *A operating carrier rule seems to be valid here too...

Thanks! I bit. The wife and I are going next June. $2013 each from BOS to AMS via LHR in Upper/Business Class. BOS to LHR on Virgin Atlantic, LHR to AMS on British Airways. It will be interesting to see how many miles we get on Delta for the Virgin Atlantic flights (Z Class). Booked on Orbitz, could not book on Delta, didn't try Virgin or British Airways websites.

J Class MXP-JNB-MXP ~$1080 on SV

I don't think I've seen this posted, but the fare (J Class MXP-JNB-MXP ~$1080 on SV) is on http://www.secretflying.com/2014/10/...th-africa-671/.

Hope someone can use it!

Try Skyteam for SJC-BCN <$2200. Can route via LAX for Alitalia lie-flat, with great Italian wines.
And for a few $s more, you can route via AMS on the KL 744 (which sometimes is the Combi). However, the routing via AMS is tricky as some available itineraries are showing Transavia for AMS-BCN.

Right, but the routing I posted is 40% further than the one he posted and includes two legs in F on QR.

The choice is simple: a direct routing for ~$3k roundtrip or a much longer routing for $3780. Longer routings are almost always more money.

So, alitalia.com was the only outlet for LAX-FCO-BCN, while delta.com was able to do LAX-AMS-BCN-CDG-MSP-LAX as well as SNA-SLC-CDG-BCN-CDG-MSP-LAX.... and while the AZ fare was $2133 a/i, the DL options were $2137.

And, for those chasing FlyingBlue status, it should earn ~19,200 level miles.

$2099 SMF-SLC-CDG-BCN-JFK-SLC-SMF, in November

hope these fares remain consistently available given all of my work travel to Spain...

also interesting is SMF-PDX-AMS-ALC-AMS-MSP-SMF for ~$2200. AMS-ALC is on Transavia...books on KLM website...

Overall, given a choice, I would fly AZ business any day.
Exactly - I have flown exactly once on each, and I though AZ was much better. I can buy Delft "gifts" for a few dollars, so that is not important for me. The wines in AZ were fantastic !

Also AGP is still available. The itinerary that I got was for June-July, so the fares are good for various times.

Now, I need to decide about whether to fly Vueling, EasyJet or drive the BCN-NCE.

It's a fine fare, just don't to get too excited about the QR First bit!

The short flight between Cairo and Doha is QR's regional first the business-class cabin of a two-class service.

It will earn some extra miles/TPs, but sadly it won't get you into a QR F cabin, won't make Cairo's T1 any nicer and you won't get access to QR's F-class lounge on the way to BKK.

After lurking in here for a couple months, I want to thank everyone for posting these deals. Very, very helpful.
I put together a trip yesterday on DL November 25-Dec 1.
LAX-SEA-CDG-BCN, return BCN-JFK-ATL in biz for $2200.
Also happy to have found a ow to get me to LAX from MSY (which is my starting point for this particular trip) MSY-ATL-LAX for $330 in first. The interesting routing gets me to Gold Medallion.
Not a bad day at all - thanks y'all.
