Wonderful anecdote; now, don't get me wrong, but how in the heck is this an indictment of the medical profession, and how does it connect to the whole government teat & paycheck notion?

And mind you, though this is starting to go OT for TS&S, for every "smart cookie" who has the answers in a situation like this, there are 1000 who are dead (no pun intended) wrong.

All right, this is the one which takes the cake. I have some Alcoa futures I'd like to interest you in; seems your tin foil hat needs another layer or two.

Is it wrong to call the TSA idiots?

Clinically, it is wrong to call the TSA idiots for foolishness and stupidity are not the same thing although the TSA demonstrates both a lack of wisdom and a lack of even average intelligence.

Colloquially, it's understandable that people would call the TSA idiots.

Yeah, nevermind

I was just curious if the phone call "had to" be made in an official TSA capacity or if it was strictly personal retaliation for what you perceived to be a "hard time".

I guess it's a good thing you've exempted yourselves from the privacy act, otherwise some might question whether this would qualify as a legitimate use of "homeslice's" personal information gathered in the course of TSA business.

Oh I see, you were just doing him a favor! Maybe he should send you a thank you card or a bottle of wine

Actually, I was referring to one of the Jerky Boys characters that use that name, although its quite possible thats where the name originated.

While TSA was fast to catch me and my novelty key chain, they let this guy past security. After declaring a security alert, they finally located the guy on a plane on concourse B.

I think I stand by my original statement made last week.

TSOs called idiots? Hmmm, true idiots (a defunct term for a person with a well below average IQ) have a good excuse. TSOs who display an incredible lack of common sense when dealing with the traveling public have no excuse for their actions. Perhaps this is a problem with the language not having a word for a person failing to think before acting or acting in a manner that displays a callous disregard for reality. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Morons, given its Greek connotation of fool, implying someone who does not think.

Anyone else call BS on this statement? How many terminal dumps are there for every one of these "findings"?

In fact, this is the first time I've seen a terminal dump avoided because they actually found the person.
