oh my, would need a lot more time than I have to write this. I just spent 6 weeks watching one doctor after another cover their arses with my friend that was in ICU. They made so many blunders and thank God his wife is a smart cookie who said enough is enough and let him go. They kept him alive for one reason, to save their arses so they would not be sued. Ten doctors could not figure out what was wrong because they treated symtoms and not the cause. He could have been saved if they had only listened to his wife in the beginning.

And mind you, though this is starting to go OT for TS&S, for every "smart cookie" who has the answers in a situation like this, there are 1000 who are dead (no pun intended) wrong.
Cancer is a business, did you know that the Vets at UF have a vaccine for melonoma but the scientist do not want it for humans. They make so much money off research. I am wasting my time spiff. There are idiots everywhere and maybe you should tell us how your profession is so perfect.

Clinically, it is wrong to call the TSA idiots for foolishness and stupidity are not the same thing although the TSA demonstrates both a lack of wisdom and a lack of even average intelligence.
Colloquially, it's understandable that people would call the TSA idiots.

I was just curious if the phone call "had to" be made in an official TSA capacity or if it was strictly personal retaliation for what you perceived to be a "hard time".
I guess it's a good thing you've exempted yourselves from the privacy act, otherwise some might question whether this would qualify as a legitimate use of "homeslice's" personal information gathered in the course of TSA business.

While TSA was fast to catch me and my novelty key chain, they let this guy past security. After declaring a security alert, they finally located the guy on a plane on concourse B.

TSOs called idiots? Hmmm, true idiots (a defunct term for a person with a well below average IQ) have a good excuse. TSOs who display an incredible lack of common sense when dealing with the traveling public have no excuse for their actions. Perhaps this is a problem with the language not having a word for a person failing to think before acting or acting in a manner that displays a callous disregard for reality. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Morons, given its Greek connotation of fool, implying someone who does not think.

In fact, this is the first time I've seen a terminal dump avoided because they actually found the person.
