Hot off PV!!!!

From someone who claims to be a screener in AK:

TSA catches terrorists all the time, they just don't go to jail. They are denied access to their flight and sent away from the airport after it has been determined they don't have anything dangerous on them. Terrorists are actually pretty smart. What they do is take all the parts of an IED through security except the explosives. We notice that they are hiding these items and realize why they are doing it. They test our checkpoints but we are not allowed to hold them or arrest them because they aren't doing anything illegal.
I am speechless that someone actually believes this!

Liar! Liar!

Someone's been into the 'special' Kool-Aid. Blogdad Bob is going to be pretty busy with this one.

Making up an extra large bucket of popcorn. This should be interesting.

We can't find a needle in a haystack, so lets look for straw, instead.

That's the beauty of an IED, it uses commonly available materials...:p

I'm sure that just about anything in a carry-on bag (that, too) could be used to make an improvised explosive device (not counting the explosive) so now everything gets counted as suspect...

I'm waiting for the announcement that the BDOs have been replaced with chicken entrails readers because the chicken entrails readers have a higher discovery rate.

I think PETA would have a fit about that.

And there is a use for the rest of the carcass.

There is a post on EOS about termination of the BDO program in the near future, by someone who claims insider information.
So, Francine, come out of the closet...:D:D

Mr. Bimler could have used a few more like you, W. R.

"we are not allowed to hold them or arrest them because they aren't doing anything illegal."

I'm shocked, shocked to find that TSO's with fake tin badges do not have the power to arrest law abiding citizens.

OP missed his next comment: "Also TSA would love to screen cargo."

And TSOWilliamReed is on the government payroll protecting the Homeland, the only thing between OBL and me. :td: I won't be sleeping soundly tonight. . .

Actually, OP didn't miss the comment about cargo, but rather thought that the initial quote was more than enough to try to wrap one's mind around for one morning.

My thought was that TSOReed might be spending his time between flights watching MacGyver reruns...

Ok, but once one's mind is spinning rapidly out of control trying to comprehend the insanity that is the TSA, a few hundred revolutions more don't seem to matter much. :D

I see the govt has officially given up on ever catching Bin Laden and just making him laugh himself to death now. All the while the citizens get to cry themselves to sleep due to the continual erosion of rights.
