Pumpkins Anyone?
I have friends visiting who bought pumpkins at the Avila Valley Barn which is a really nice pumpkin patch on the Central Coast.
Does anyone know if a pumpkin will pass through security for a carry-on?

Did your friend take the pumpkin through TSA? If so, was it allowed?
(I'd bet it was. It's not a liquid, and they're generally lenient about food - a TSA screener once told me "pie filling is a liquid if it's in a jar, but not if it's in a pie". Ammonium-nitrate pie, anyone?)
