Wonder what knee our TSA folks will jerk in response to this one.... BOHICA

Four Greenpeace activists climbed on top of a jet at Heathrow today in what was described as an "incredible security breach".

brilliant move- both seriously and sarcastically speaking.

as i have always trained my front line banking staff, a uniform doesn't mean squat and the i/d needs to be "looked at"

now as to your question, the tsa will take a page out of the "tootsie-pop playbook "......the answer is 3.

i/d #1: shows who you are
i/d #2: show that the i/d used to i/d yourself is in fact valid and one
i/d #3: simply has the word baaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh on it*

*if you do not have i/d #3, you will now be allowed to fly

You know you may not be far from the truth on this one. Kind of scary I know, but I have antedotaly seen a request/demand for a credit card or some other piece of ID to verify the name on the primary ID at a TSA checkpoint already. I actually wouldn't be suprised to see in the future the rules for the checkers be, REAL ID and a second form of ID confirming at least a portion of the information on the REAL ID. Or that TSA will get credit card swipers and with the requests for more data from the airlines, demand that the pax present the credit card used for payment at the checkpoint.

i know, it IS scary but what scares me now is what you just said....i/d swipes to verify the info on the mag-strip. i can't wait to have that happen and then have the info "skimmed" as in less than an hour, your i/d is "thefted" and the thieves will be hard at work.

In a perverted way, I hope that happens. It will finally bring home to the masses that "security" means protecting the agency as opposed to truly protecting the citizens of America.
