Kind of scary I know, but I have antedotaly seen a request/demand for a credit card or some other piece of ID to verify the name on the primary ID at a TSA checkpoint already. I actually wouldn't be suprised to see in the future the rules for the checkers be, REAL ID and a second form of ID confirming at least a portion of the information on the REAL ID. Or that TSA will get credit card swipers and with the requests for more data from the airlines, demand that the pax present the credit card used for payment at the checkpoint.
i know, it IS scary but what scares me now is what you just said....i/d swipes to verify the info on the mag-strip. i can't wait to have that happen and then have the info "skimmed" as in less than an hour, your i/d is "thefted" and the thieves will be hard at work.
