Please re-read my explanation (re: Natural Law vs. law of the jungle) or check wikipedia's or SEP's entries if the distinctions still aren't clear.
Repeating yourself does not refute my argument re: discovery vs. "making up."

Really, though, these are not scientific principles that can be measured. They're ethics. So how can they be "discovered?"

Who defines "right" and "wrong?"
Pretending is saying things you don't mean or believing in things you don't know. There's no pretense on my part.

You're entitled to rely on your beliefs and opinions if you like. But I'll stick to objective facts, thanks.

@:-) We should probably take this offline unless Cholula or VPescado wants to bother detaching our OT exchange for dispatch to OMNIville. @:-)

That said I may be offline for a day or two. I'll be looking for you tomorrow afternoon if possible or day after if not.
Thank you for the excellent discussion.

Sounds good to me. I love these kinds of exchanges. Lots to learn. I don't know if you drink or not but these are better done over a bottle of wine or a few glasses of scotch.

Thank you both, too! I'm enjoying this very much as well!! I don't get the chance to do this sort of back and forth in writing very often. It's good practice -- and challenging.

Let's pick it up again, later? I'm toast for the day.
