Medications

I haven't flown since the new security rules came about. I am on a couple of prescription meds that I will have to take with me next week.

Do I have to take the entire bottle (they are huge), or can I just take my little weekly pill case with me in my carryon?

Ok, I have no idea what happened to my first response, it seems to have disappeared. If it shows up twice now, that is why.

In response - I do this all the time. I carry my meds in one of those round plastic, segmented daily dose cases. Since I don't check bags, it rides in my shave kit in my carryon. I've never had anyone even look at it.

If it's pills or vitamins, yeah, I've been known to put them in a small pill case. You might want to carry a copy of your Rx just in case, but no one has asked about it in my travels. I recently did have to travel with a discouragingly large amount of a gel Rx. I kept it in its original packaging with a copy of the drugstore's paperwork on it, but no one even glanced at it.
