Medications
I haven't flown since the new security rules came about. I am on a couple of prescription meds that I will have to take with me next week.
Do I have to take the entire bottle (they are huge), or can I just take my little weekly pill case with me in my carryon? |
Ok, I have no idea what happened to my first response, it seems to have disappeared. If it shows up twice now, that is why.
In response - I do this all the time. I carry my meds in one of those round plastic, segmented daily dose cases. Since I don't check bags, it rides in my shave kit in my carryon. I've never had anyone even look at it. |
If it's pills or vitamins, yeah, I've been known to put them in a small pill case. You might want to carry a copy of your Rx just in case, but no one has asked about it in my travels. I recently did have to travel with a discouragingly large amount of a gel Rx. I kept it in its original packaging with a copy of the drugstore's paperwork on it, but no one even glanced at it.
