No, in the Best live version he broke his leg and had to limp on back home.

Nah, they'd probably make you remove them and toss them in the trash after walking through the WTMD. After all, you have to prove to the TSA that they're disposible by disposing of them.

My wife actually puts a supermarket plastic bag on each foot to walk through screening and other than laughing at her, they have not forced removal. She flys 100K+ miles a year.

Not nearly as dumb as having your bare foot wanded by a screener - which has been both reported here by others and experienced by me at KOA, although I kept my sock on given the limited amount of Semtex I could carry in the arch of my foot, being flat-footed

I've seen many types of novelty socks in stores and in catalogs. I'd love to find a pair that are designed to look like shoes. That would really drive the TSO's nuts!

Hi, Michelle2385!

You drive 'em nuts. Mrs. kaukau and I will continue to slip through real wiki-wiki and hikiwale : fast and easy.

Anyway, one would think that, in lieu of shoes, rubbah slippahs, aka flip-flops, would be the appropriate footwear to wear through a security screening: but alas, it is not so. Au-we.

Well, we're no hipa, but we intend to continue to go through security with the least possible hassle, for everyone involved.

Until Spiff gets elected president, and I'd vote for him, that's how I see it going down.

Did any see that Saturday Night Live spoof where they had a commercial for shoes that looked like feet?

I'd love to see someone do that: walk through the metal detector with them on looking like you have only bare feet, then taking them off after you get through to put on your real shoes.
