TSA/DHS Written Complaint

So has anyone sent in a complaint to TSA/DHS about the new rules and rules which look to be emanent about banning electronic devices as carry-on's? If so, lets do the form letter and send in out dislike for this.

Look, there' no reason to think restrictions of this kind are coming. You are falling victim to an alarmist media.

I've sent a letter to all my Congressmen, the TSA, the President/VP, and to the newspapers. This is patently ridiculous.

Got my official complaint form right here after this morning's TSA incident.

There's no guarantee it will happen. The only people that I think could be lobbying for this are video conferencing companies and Microsoft with its online meeting product. Banning electronic equipment in the cabin would hurt the business.

Now, I have a better, middle-of-the-road, solution. If they want to restrict access during a flight, why not retrofit aircraft with locks on the overhead bins. I don't like that solution either, but if there is a ban, and it's the only way that I can bring things onboard, I can live with it.

I've already called to object to the harassment that was instituted yesterday. I will be calling daily while it is in effect and will be also objecting to potential further harassment such as a stupid ban on electronics.

Screw you, Comrades Chertoff and Hawley.

So Spiff - I take it you're not worried about striking out at future Flyertalk get-togethers:

Such is life.

Comrade Hawley is fortunate he is not within shaking distance at the moment. Hands, of course.
