Say, Airline Brat: maybe your stepdad just hasn't learned all the variations to the Barefoot Dance of Coercion yet. Or it could be that he uses correct spelling when he writes. Check with the OP. Of course, this may all be SSI.
I think an eighty-plus senior being implied to be a damned liar in public is silly, too. Perhaps they'll show him their PLEDGED "dignity and respect" before they force him into handcuffs next time.
