Doh! A deer gets into O'Hare

(While you are getting felt-up by the TSA, ask how this can happen.)

A young buck trotted into an O'Hare Airport terminal Tuesday morning, avoiding security by tripping automatic doors typically used for deliveries.

(snip)

"It was confused and bewildered and tried to find shelter," aviation department spokeswoman Annette Martinez said. "This was not a security problem. Airport operations were not disrupted and there were no passengers around."

But Martinez had no answer for the big head scratcher, how did the deer walk past the cars, buses, people, cops, and security officers to get to the door of terminal two before it opened and let the animal in?

Was venison the meal on any United flights?

Will they now put Buck Showalter on the no-fly list?

Instead of "Doh!", shouldn't your title have read "Doe!"?

It ain't the first time a deer has attacked an airport Last year, a deer ran into the BWI terminal, up the escalator, through the checkpoint (it didn't have SSSS on its boarding card), down the hall, through an open gate door, and down the steps - then bolted across the field. Perhaps they were conducting surveillance I am sure DHS wants to look into this.

Ted Nugent will be the next secretary of Homeland Security and will assign bow and arrows for this particular threat.

Animal control officers sedated the deer with a tranquilizer.

After officers assessed its injuries, the buck was euthanized.
And we thought the treatment we received from TSA was bad...

Cool

The Department of Heimlandssicherheit today issued warnings to theatrical supply shops to be on the lookout for middle-eastern men trying to rent two-man deer or cow costumes.

Anybody remember Monty Python's Pantomine Horse? How about the Three Stooges's KO Bossy?

But wait -- Mark Hatfield, official TSA Talking head, alluded to the fact that the deer could have been simply a test image deer.
