I have to ask, did they at least have the wand on vibrate mode? Now why would you not call for the LEO immediately? Or a supervisor? They will take a crying man more seriously than an angry man. Afterall, it takes a big man to cry, but an even bigger man to laugh at that man.</font>
Well said.

Edited for sensitivity:

Perhaps it could have been said differently. There are some valid points behind the BS. It's hard for me to see the original posters side because were it I there would have been a badly injured agent. Considering the shear number of TSA employees, odds are there are some sexual predators.

I heard that you are going to be able to go through the wtmd twice, but if your shoes still meet the criteria, then you will still be "subjected" to secondary screening(put in the pen). sorry folks. That **** shoe policy is the scurge of society. Oh how I wish.....

JG, may I make a suggestion. While you're on the mag, if your sup doesn't say anything, and there are no mgt. around, ignore the shoes. If they alarm, turn them around and ask them to remove their shoes (if they're obviously the problem). Hang the criteria, use your "non TSA" common sense.

Happy pax....happy mag operator....happy wanders. Happy, happy, happy.

It is inexplicable to me that NO ONE, not even the moderators, have responded to the derogatory and personally demeaning responses from UnknownScreener, TakeScissorsAway, and CarmelGreg towards the initial poster!

What is it about you three that you are completely unable to accept this happening?
What, guys wouldn't do this to another guy? Or males don't cry in public or get intimidated by authority?

Just what narrow little world do your brains live in?!

D@MN IT, you are all insensitive jerks and have classified YOURSELVES as A@@holes as well by your replys :-(

The rest of you that have ignored the original poster should be ashamed of yourselves for letting the topic be highjacked, especially in light of the agressive hostility of the above three members and the seriousness of the topic!

Mats,
My very deepest sympathies to you and the other young man.
Not only do I believe both you and the 17 year old had this happen, I know that it is easy to be intimidated by someone you KNOW can ruin your day or have you arrested for NOTHING if you object.
I also strongly agree that both of you should independently write up (the youth with his parent's co-authorship) EVERY detail possible and file the complaint asap with the local police- once is terrible, twice in a short period indicates a predator is in a position of power to do this to countless other young men and likely IS as we speak.

SDL, Perhaps I could have shown more sensitivity and in fact did concede that is was possible this happened. I also understand now that you have posted how someone can be so intimidated as to allow this. I think it very unfair of you to categorize me along side those other posters you listed. They have said much worse. While I'm quoted as saying "I agree", I've edited my statements for sensitivity.

P.s. I've been screaming moderator for months but obviously this is just a catch screen to reduce the number of TSA posters from migrating to the real guts ("FT Miles") of FT. It's working to a degree.

Wow! I've been inappropriately touched on my breasts b/c of an underwire bra and was pissed off. You must be raging inside!

I'm so very sorry you had to go through this.

When will the insanity end??

Ah, an FTer after my own heart ...

The only nit I have to pick with FedEx (and I do have a personal account with them, btw) is that they get a lot of their business from USPS. I know it's purely a free market transaction, but I wish one of the major private sector delivery companies would tell the USPS to go **** themselves. Rock/hard place ...

Property staffed post office? Ha.. Mail actually making 2-3 days consistently on a regular basis? Ha.. Local mail making it the following day on a regular bais? Ha..

It's rare you'll see me set foot into a post office because of this. If I have something to send, it's typically important, and it goes via UPS or FedEx. I've even been known to use UPS Red for local delivery of important papers instead of the USPS.

As far as bills and things that many people would normally send by mail, I make my payments online (and even get invoiced online by some companies / financial institutions).

Problem solved! No USPS, no problems.

Only thing the USPS has mastered is delivering junk mail timely, and on a regular basis.

Best,

Sorry, can believe what I want to believe, and I don't believe this happened. Of course, this is only MY opinion, and like everyone else on this board, I'm entitled to it. Just like it's YOUR opinion that my post was "derogatory & personally demeaning", which I feel it's neither.

Furthermore, if it indeed did occur, by not reporting it, the 1st victim gave a 2nd chance to the offender, causing a 2nd victim.
Any other person, be it man or woman, would probably have screamed "RAPE", but this "person" said nothing ?? So the 2nd offense sits directly in their lap.

But as stated before, this fairy tale didn't happen.

EXACTLY!!! What man is going to just STAND there and allow someone to place the wand INSIDE their underwear and not say anything? Nope, never happened, but there are lots of things reported as fact on here that never happened, yet the wagon jumpers are always there looking for a ride aren't they? Why? Because it furthers their agenda and makes them feel good. They hold these incidents up as some devine sign that they have been proven right. Be it the "public execution" in Seattle, or the above mentioned "incident." Truth is the LAST thing you will find on that wagon.

...in addition, and regardless what some might want to believe, with the sheer number of NON-SEXUAL PREDATORS working on the checkpoint, including leads and supervisors, i find it impossible to believe that no other TSA employee wouldn't have stopped it-believe me, if i saw something like that going on by another screener, i would have, at the very least, releived that person of their duties, contacted the supervisor, a leo, the screening manager, the terminal manager and the boys at copell-not to mention the broken arm i wouldn have given him-and i'm just a screener myself!!!

this is a zero tolerance issue....

Not any "man" I know, or want to know, for that fact.

Er, I thought TSA stood for Toiletry Search Administration.
