Your baiting again. Goons, Goosestepping goons, thugs, and a commie in the pear tree is all I've said with one exception...That which you are a master of....baiting.

It's quite obvious to me from your posts that you really don't believe your "devil's advocate's" stance. You just like to bait, Master.

Actually, what I believe is that you are so hopped up on anonymous internet name calling, you can't help yourself. Do try to make some posts which refrain from calling TSA employees "thugs," "goons," "morons," et cetera, ad nauseum.

If you did this, you might actually have something interesting to say. bdschobel is a perfect example. He has a lot less sympathy for the TSA than I do, but manages to make his points without your usual use of silly words that I bet you'd never dream of speaking in polite company.

There's absolutely nothing patriotic about drug interdiction.

What's next, will you be claiming giving out parking tickets is patriotic?

I'll tell you what patriotism means. It means upholding the values that America holds near and dear: freedom.

The terrorists have done a very very effective job of scaring the .... out of politicans and many sheeple, who are willing to change the system and freedoms we have in order to have better "security".

The TSA is a direct, and ver reactive response to the problem of terrorism. The only problem is that the TSA policies serve to hassle passengers mostly, rather than provide effective deterrent to real terrorist threats. All the billions of your and mine tax dollars dumped into this endless cesspool has helped only the terrorists - they've forced us to bring unAmerican practices upon ourselves.

If you think the current TSA really is patriotic, you deserve the TSA and all its silly policies.

*note* most TSA employees I meet are pretty nice, but that doesn't make it any more pleasant to have to take off my shoes, or get my luggage searched.

urlbuster, don't let this surprise you-while there is nothing inherantly "patriotic" about giving out parking tickets, this comment by spiff goes a LONG way to showing his real feelings about ANY civil authority "trampling" on his liberties(i suspect that spiff feels it's his within his constitutional rights to park ANYWHERE he wants and even that not being able to use the best places because they are designated handicapped only is some kind of abridgement of his rights-i know, i know...he'll call me a liar because i'm just "reading between the lines" here and he didn't ACTUALLY say this, but the tenor of his post is as such...lol)... all in all, i'm not surprised by his reaction...lol

His comprehension skills reflect the TSA SOP. He only reads/interprets what he wants and applies it the way he wants. This is why there is no consistency amongst TSA processes across USA.
