Diabetic Testing Lancets
I will be traveling to Europe from JFK next month. As a newly diagnosed diabetic, I will be taking a supply of test equipment onboard. I do not require the insulin or injection devices. According to the TSA bulletin, diabetic testing equipment is approved for carryon.
Is this true in practice?
Will I be asked for any additional documentation to allow carrying on my test equipment. I would leave the test material in my lugguge but am afraid of losing it. I would not know how to replace it in Europe.
I would appreciate any help and advice about this issue.
Thanks

We see those all the time, as well as the EPI pens for those with severe alergies, there should not be a problem.

I am a diabetic who travels extensively nationally and internationally. I carry syringes as well as lancets. Never encountered a problem. Be sure to carry a prescription or a letter from your doctor with you.
