I will be traveling to Europe from JFK next month. As a newly diagnosed diabetic, I will be taking a supply of test equipment onboard. I do not require the insulin or injection devices. According to the TSA bulletin, diabetic testing equipment is approved for carryon.
Is this true in practice?
Will I be asked for any additional documentation to allow carrying on my test equipment. I would leave the test material in my lugguge but am afraid of losing it. I would not know how to replace it in Europe.
I would appreciate any help and advice about this issue.
