TSA takes first steps toward 'trusted travel' program

http://www.cnn.com/2011/TRAVEL/07/14...ler/index.html

Yet this doesn't appear to alter what appears to be the TSA's interpretation of the administrative search doctrine... if we wish to access the sterile area, we must submit to any and all search techniques, including radition, and touching us (both without cause or suspicion).

Being home to DTW, guess that means I get a minimal chance of a patdown in DTW, yet my return could be a touch more... touchy feeling?

As we have an active thread addressing the run-up to TSA's TTP we'll close this thread.

Current discussion: Trusted Traveler Begins Fall 2011.
