Update - Legislative Alert! NJ vs TSA

Looks like it would be a good be time to write to the NJ legislators in support of their efforts to curb TSA.

You guys from NY too

I've been keeping track of this for a while as EWR is my closest airport. I think it would be very helpful for anyone from NY or PA to also contact the NJ legislatures regarding these bills since you could always fly out of EWR very conveniently if these bills are passed.

My interpretation of the article was that these are stuck in Committee, i.e. left to die. With the developments in NH and TX, some pressure may be able to shake them loose.

There are Assembly and Senate committees for both Judiciary and Transportation so lots of members. I'll probably faxzero some and email others to Chairs/Vice Chairs with a message similar to those that went to TX Rep Simpson and NH Rep Lambert.

Transportation
ASSEMBLY
Wisniewski, John S. Chair

Stender, Linda Vice-Chair

Norcross, Donald - Vice-Chair

Judiciary
ASSEMBLY

That was my reading too, I didn't see any actual news in that article.
