Wonder if he needs a staffer?
Or how about most of the TS/S FTers?

TSA Backs Down on Shirtless Boy Story

TSAs initial statement on the incident said the boy set off the alarm on the metal detector, a point disputed by a man who taped the screening and posted it online. Chaffetz says the airports top TSA official admitted the boy didnt trigger the alarm and the congressman went to bat to get the agency to correct its statement.

I said, You guys knew that at the beginning. You lied at the beginning, Chaffetz said Friday.

The TSAs blog now says that the boy was given a pat down because of bulky clothing and not because metal was detected.

New information was brought to light that indicated the initial report was incorrect, the TSA said.
Finally somebody with the balls to get something done!

Chaffetz has a FB page and has been getting a good bit of support from people on the issue there. For those off you who are on FB, you can "like" him and then post your feedback to his wall. He or his staffer seem to post fairly regularly on there so I'm sure what's there is getting read. The more support the guy gets, the better it is for all of us.

"New information" is the new "getting caught in a lie."

Bolded mine. I corrected it for you! These TSA agents don't deserve "retirement", at least not the kind with benefits.

Donation page seems to be down. I guess since the campaign is over, it didn't really make sense?

This one is working. When I donated IE worked better with the scripts.

Wise.

As a 'survivor' of working with various levels of government, I suspect his effectiveness will last for as long as it takes for someone to figure out how to stall or block him. Or perhaps a little chat with someone higher in the party pointing out that doubts are being voiced about his 'soundness'*. I could be wrong; I certainly hope so.

Nice to see you all too, though I've been around.

It's good to see someone who is unlikely to give TSA a free reign in charge of this committee. I hope that his staff will pass on comments from those outside his constituency.
