...and...
If more thorough pat downs were needed as a result of what happened last Christmas, why did it take almost a year to get this in place? I don't believe this for one second and I think this is a gross violation of our rights.
So one guy can determine what we need to do to keep us safe? I thought the government worked for us?
I will not fly anymore becuase of this....period end of story.
>>TSA chief: No plans to go beyond enhanced pat-downs<<
He's lying.
He's lying.
Does anybody know if Pistole uses Just for Men? maybe that's whats affecting his brain cells.

My favorite part:
"Q: How has this affected the morale of TSA agents and people who are on the front lines?
A: I've talked to a number of the federal security directors — we have 120 of those around the country — and almost to a person they say the workforce has been energized by this. They have a sense of mission. They were hearing from travelers in a way they haven't heard much. People were saying, 'Thank you for what you're doing.' "

Are some FSDs directing multiple airports?
For instance, is FNT handled by the FSD for DTW?

Q: Do the people who make the decisions about who gets randomly screened have room to exercise common sense?
A: Well, sure.
A: Well, sure.

Q: Are you confident in the safety of scanning technology? Several independent scientists still have voiced concerns.
A: I have complete confidence in the results I have seen, but I also welcome critics out there who can do an independent assessment. If we are using technology that is causing harm rather than keeping people safe, I'm the first one who wants to know about that.
