I just chalked it up to someone mixing the APCO and International Phonetic Alphabets.

Is yelling "Bravo" at the airport the opposite of yelling "Fire" at the theatre? Can you get in trouble for yelling "Bravo" while at the airport? What about if you yell "Bravo Clear"?

interesting, as the public figures out what "bravo" means, and you don't know if they are "testing" or "for real" when they yell it, it could certainly set off mass panic at the check point...

Since the meanings of the terms are probably SSI, that would be like making it illegal to say the secret word in a theater, while making it illegal to tell anyone what that word. Welcome to Pee-wee's Playhouse.

Next time I'm at a checkpoint I'll applaud the TSA employees for their fine acting in the security theater with a rousing "Bravo!".

This will be fun! After I clear, I turn back to the screening area and hold up both hands and yell "Code Bravo." I wonder how many of them will freeze?

You know, I had never though about it, but this really is like Pee-wee's Playhouse....

Super-double-top-secret code words
Special colored uniforms
Grown men fondling little boys
Who knows what they do with themselves in the nudie monitor room (ala pee-wee's trips to the theatre)
etc. etc. etc.

It's just a horrible TV show...
