I think it is just that TSA is so completely inept, not because of the airport. IAD is my "home" airport, and as an O/D facility, it can be dealt with. Arriving from overseas at JFK and trying to catch a connecting flight to DCA or IAD is pure hell - I simple won't use JFK, based on the fact that every time I have used it since 9/11, I've missed my connecting flight.

That said, IAD's TSO force is filled with surly uneducated residents of West Virginia, and it shows. If it wasn't for the BWI TSO force, IAD's would hands down be the worst in the region.

Imagine there's no TSA
It isn't hard to do
No nudi scopes or gropes
And no gate checks too
Imagine all the people
Flying in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the TSA will be gone

Imagine no hassling of our possessions
I wonder if you can
No need to run or hurry
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the overhead bins ...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will fly as one

My profuse apologizes to John Lennon

Why didn't you just get in the other line? Did the $8.00 per hour Somali or Pakistani working for Airserve, who told you to stand in one line over the other, intimidate you into compliance with their natural leadership abilities?

Do what us locals do at Dulles when the Airserve morons try and boss us around - tell them to go fluck themselves, and go on about your day.

AirServ doesn't have an "e" at the end.

Well done. After I read this a few more times, I think it will be stuck in my head!

A Youtube of this would be awesome, if someone wants to put their singing skills to the test.

Now the melody will play in my head all day!

PS I suspect that JL would love it if he were still here.
