Foreigners going home and refusing....

I just thought about the following.

What about foreigners leaving the country. What would happenen to them if they refuse to be scanned and groped?

According to immigrationlaw any over stay their visit will be deported.

But what if they dont want the above?

Will they be dragged into scanners and held down while they get groped?

So how is immigration working with TSA?

Flying is not the only way of leaving the US.

INS/CBP are law enforcement, right? Thus if you are facing forceful deportation, you will probably be searched (cavities included, if unlucky) at the time of you arrest by CBP. Then CBP can escort you airside TSAless...

The Immigration/Customs guys come along, take them into a dark room with a single lightbulb, question them for several hours, grope them anyway, and finally escort them directly onboard a one-way international flight as prisoners (that bypass TSA screening).

Either way, they'll get a grope. It's a matter of whether they'd prefer having it done in a big open area with plenty of company, or in a small back office.

I dont think they will question an non speaking english person for hours.

And that was not really what I was asking either.
i am talking about all these tourists who come here to USA and dont want o be scanned or groped.
They are not her illegal at all. They are going home but refuses to this bully at the airports by TSA.

Depending were you live.

If you have a ticket for Europe but refuses the bulling at airports. I doubt very much that they would put you on a boat.

Still talking about tourists coming to this country. Not illegals being deported.

OK, so you refuse to do TSA. TSA just shrugs, you are still stuck in the US. You can get yourself by land to Mexico/Canada and fly from there, go by sea, or wait till you hit your stay limit, and then take your chances as an illegal.

Doesn't matter, the answer is the same. Eventually the tourist will violate the terms of his visa, become an illegal resident, and be deported.

I really dont belive that it is how it works.

Can you see TSA doing that to thousand of tourists. Not me.

They are not here illegal but are more or less forced to stay becuse of TSA.

You have any clue how that would do to toruists coming here?

Yes. But we are talking about tourists not wanting to be nude-scanned and groped.
Not people wanting to stay here.

And by the way alot of countries dont have visas for coming here. Just normal cash paying people.

Not exactly.

The tourist will become an illegal resident like the 11 million already here, send their kids to school, get free healthcare, collect welfare, get gov't assisted housing, get anmesty and eventually become a citizen.

Ah, AMERICA!

Tanja, I believe you are wrong. 99.999% tourists to the US will assume the kettle position. I haven't heard of any tourists that refused to do TSA and thus are unable to leave the US. If you are in this situation, many airports still only have WTMD (standard magnetometer) and you can fly from one of those, thus avoiding the WBI/pornogrope.

And dont ferget that accrding to TSA they cant force you inot the scanner or having a grope. Only if you want to fly.

If not. You dont fly. And that is the question if you are a tourist. Not illegal.

And no I live here legally.

I just said no I am not an illegal. I live here legally and have done for a very long time.

I am just asking in general. Cause I get aksed this from people in Europe all the time. People who want to visit but are afraid to.
And it is also wrong to tell a tourist to find antoher airport to leave the country.

Do you even get how unfriendly and rude that is and sounds.

Uhm, I was just trying to be helpful, also taking into account I am a guest of Uncle Sam myself. Not sure where you found rudeness in my posts...

I'd simply tell them the truth. The United States no longer welcomes foreign visitors because we think they're all terrorists, and many so-called "security" people at the airports aren't even respectful of the rights granted to their own fellow countrymen (and countrywomen).

By flying here there is no guarantee that you won't have someone at the airport grope and fondle your genitals after forcing you through a cancer-causing scanner that lets them see your naked body. And since TSA does not screen for perverts and sexual deviants, there is no guarantee that the person looking at your naked body or manipulating your genitals won't be getting some sort of sexual gratification from it.

And tell them that TSA freely and openly insists upon doing the same thing to their under-age children.

I have toold everyone I know. And I dont know anyone who wants to travel here any more.

And they used to.

I am thinking about the people who dont get warned and end up in a very odd confrontation with TSA.

It was not only to you. But just in general respond.

Sure if people can afford to travel all over then I guess some would.
But it is not correct and friendly at all.

Cause tourists should not have to do what you wrote.

And USA's torist board wonders why tourists dont want to come here.

I hope that they soon get a reality check.

Two of my SSSS experiences were in Hawai'i and Puerto Rico. I was absolutely furious because they don't give this to you on the way in, when I would have simply refused to go to the USA, but they do it on the way out. Obviously, I didn't push this all the way, but I did raise a big fuss and pointed out that they were giving me a choice of being imprisoned on the island or submitting to their treatment. I've often wondered though if there would be grounds for a suit, as normal cases have been dismissed on the grounds that the traveller who did not want to submit had alternatives.
