Apparently all airline elites are rich

As many of you know I'm a boarding area blogger. The Charlotte Observer recently added a part to their website where locals can upload their blog posts so I decided to do a blog post about how TSA keeps sticking newbies on the X-ray machine near the elite line thus defeating the purpose.

http://theobserverinsight.com/en/sto...lite-line.html
...apparently *I* am the problem and need to commit suicide.

I guess my company never got the memo that elites and people flying in first class should be rich. It's a facebook connect site to post, but if anyone would like to help me educate the people of Charlotte I'd appreciate it.

That said, posting an article complaining about how the TSA treats people in the elite line is just asking for trouble . . .

bolding mine: why bother ....they simply can't differentiate between an inept security screening process at clt regardless of the location (elite vs non-elite). it just so happens that you use the elite line and folks think you're an elitist aka a snob (sorry-it's the only word i could think of while drinking nad watching the hockey game )

Nowhere to run and hide at 30,000 feet, huh? You agency routinely fails red team tests at airports across this country. How did your airport do on the last red team test? Pass? Probably not.

Oh, no a water bottle behind me. Listen goober, when you start treating the confiscated materials as potential threats then we might believed you. Until then all you're doing is making the sheep feel comfortable. Nice try though.

As to preventing another 9/11, you can't do it. You're playing defense and poorly at that. Someone does an end run around you and you suddenly become toast. The private screeners pre 9/11 had considerably more motivation than do you and your cow-orkers.

hey "louise"what about all those airports that fail their open book red tests, what about tso's who violate not only the tsa's very own sop like bringing a gun to work or using the nude-o-scope to make fun of an employee's johnson but also the law (can you say possession of kiddie-porn), what about <insert your tsa screw up here>, what about <insert your tsa screw up here>, what about <insert your tsa screw up here>.....

sheesh "louise", drinking all that kool-aid is gonna give you cavities

i've said it before and i'll say it again (and will keep saying it)....the tsa must (n.b. must) have zero tolerance for any violation of either sop or the law based on the trust and level of trust instilled in the position and it must me a coe. you screw up and you're gone-it's the only way to guarantee an efficient and competent workforce.
