Hey Ron, when did the United Kingdom annex Amsterdam?

Exactly. The idea that BDO's, roaming the airport concourse, can detect potential terrorists simply by observing them is simply ludicrous.

Sorry to leave this thread alone for so long, but I've been in the land of the slow internet (and surfing the web instead of sightseeing would be a crime in of itself).

Just to clarify: I've never sworn at a TSA worker and don't plan to. My thoughts were merely to speculate on what could happen to someone if they did. I would also prefer not to sink to such a level, but wanted to get an idea of what one might expect if they did, either intentionally or unintentionally.

Sounds like someone needs to go back to grade school at Amsterdam is in the country of the Netherlands which is 200 miles from the UK.

Get your facts straight before you type on your keyboard.

Bank robber: "Give me all the money or you're geography!"
Bank teller: "Excuse me?"
Robber: "Give me all the money or you're geography!!"
Teller: "Uh, don't you mean 'history'?"
Robber: "Don't change the subject!"

... no federal government agency is getting in the face of the public as much as the TSA and then doing so in an as messed up way as the TSA.

Most reasonable people aren't necessarily going to be happy that an expensive, ineffective government organization which they are funding is subjecting them to frequent nonsense in the name of "security".

Is something new coming down the pike or is this just a promise if someone uses inflammatory language?

Sounds like a warning about a retaliatory screening from those screeners too unprofessional to control themselves and respect the public's First Amendment rights.

TSORon casts quite a few stones in our direction, talking about our general "ignorance" of security issues. The reaction here is quite measured, compared to what it could be.

So TSOron makes a mistake and you along with others immediately pounce on him saying, "get your facts straight before you type on a keyboard." Don't you think you ought to make damn sure what you're typing is correct before you publish it, especially when trying to make someone else look foolish??

It's not possible to make someone else look foolish if they do not act foolish. And those who appear foolish are responsible for looking foolish.

While ignorance of the facts isn't necessarily foolishness, trying to make a point by relying upon ignorance does appear foolish to many.
