Minimum Spending
My mothers account is missing the last 5k of the 25K bonus. I called about it this morning and I was told. Her bill last month was only $0.75. You must spend at least $1.00 to get the points.
She got a Sprint PCS phone with included LD and had been using that for her LD. There was never any minimum spending stated during sign up nor with any of the welcome material sent.
Is it time to cancel my Sprint LD, Sprint PCS, Sprint Earthlink and my mothers Sprint LD, Sprint PCS services? I asked the service rep and she said. "I would be happy to assist you in cancelling your services and provide you with the numbers to contact the PCS and Internet divisions! In total that would be over $300.00 per month in revenue lost to Sprint. She was not impressed.

I know, thats the tough part to swallow. If I had know that I would have had her make another phone call!

They haven't posted any miles for me since my second month, on June 25th. I've got a bad feeling about this. Got to get around to calling customer service. At least I've pretty well documented things (on these threads, too).

motnot - I have the same issue but June was my 4th month. So I hope the issue is the July posting and not that you or me are having a problem (since we both are missing the July posting and it is not the same month for us). Just thought I would add that because reading your post put my mind at ease that I was not the only one and I thought I was only having the problems.

I have done most of the phone deals over time. Though I too have had problems with Sprint, I found that a call and then asking to speak with a supervisor usually does the trick. Also if they say that your account does not show you were signed up for the special offer tell them that a telemarketing rep promised you this offer. It is very difficult for them to authenticate and they usually give in.
Sprint is FAR more accodating than MCI in my experience though neither is perfect. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
