We'll be in Peru soon to enjoy all the beautiful sights... and gastronomy! We have heard of great restaurants in the country and have according booked to dine at the world reknown Astrid y Gaston in Lima and at Chicha por Gaston Acurio in Arequipa.
We made the reservation by phone 2 weeks ago and then requested to have a confirmation sent to us via email which was promptly done.

I would try to go to Central instead of going to 2 of Gaston's restaurants.
