Rumor?
I've heard a rumor that the Passages program might be dissolved. Anyone know anything about this?

Absolutely have not heard anything of the sort. Passages is practically the only Asian based ff program that is useful for frequent flyers in the Asia Pacific and it would be a disaster to dissolve it.

This is now confirmed. Miles can be accumulated up to Jan 1999 and can be redeemed up to Jan 2000. Singapore Airlines will set up a new program for their frequent flyers to replace and members will be also able transfer unused Passages miles into this. Cathay and Malaysian Airlines haven't announced their plans yet.
