Airways Brewing Company - near SEA
<shameless plug>
Airways Brewing Company is owned an operated by one of my coworkers at Alaska Air.
Alex loves three things: His wife, beer, and airplanes... not necessarily in that order.
The brewery/tap room is in Kent, WA. 4 1/2 miles from the airport, so you can even down a couple cold ones while on a layover... and you wouldn't be the first Flyertalker to do so
He's open Thursdays and Fridays from 4-8pm, and will expand hours this summer as well as bring on some more food items. Currently he has some great pretzel rolls that come from a local german bakery, and a dried german sausage that comes from a sausagemaker in Pike Place market.
He makes some tasty brew, and airplane geekiness abounds in the tap room.
His tap handles are 747 Exit Door Handles .. this place was made for Flyertalkers
I'll be helping pour beers tomorrow night, so come on down!
