Aeromexico Fare Class Change with Paid Upgrade?
I currently have a W fare (Premium Economy) ticket on an Aeromexico ticketed/operated itinerary. If I modify the reservation with a paid upgrade to Premiere/Business, will it also change my fare class code in parallel?
Trying to maximize the earnings with my DL SkyMiles account and unsure if the paid upgrade will do the trick or if I need to rebook Premiere entirely. Thanks!

Yes , but yout first booking will need to be cancelled and you are unlikely to see your money back (or at least not without a fight that you might not even win) , so i recommend to keep it as it is and for next time book J directly
