Aeromexico last minute JFK-MEX flights
I am trying to book or return flight on coach in middle of may but that's still a while away and I know this airline has some really bad refund policies. Currently I am seeing fares go for about 400. If I book just a few days prior is it likely that I will have to pay considerably more? Or is the month of may fairly off peak for tourists and I could score a fair for about the same price
Also is there a flight fare tracker that alerts only if a fare goes below a certain pre-set amount? Google flights, skyscanner etc alert you even if a fare goes up/down by a few bucks which is a lot of alerts

I'd expect that you will find yourself no less than relatively screwed if you wait. Over $100 of that fare is taxes, so unless airlines want to dump capacity at a loss, that's pretty much the bottom of fare department.
