SAA Express

Travelling to South Africa by beginning of next year. I will also have some flights on SAA Express. How are they related to SAA mainline ? Is *G status valid on SAA Express flight, and can I earn mileage on these flights as well?

Would there be possible to use lounges at JNB when flying SAA Express in Y class ( star gold )

Thanks for any advice

South African Express like SA Airlink falls under the umbrella of SAA but are in fact two different companies.

You will earn the same mileage as any regular SAA flight.

Not sure about lounge access if you are in Y with *G but if you have Diners club you can use Premier Lounge free.
